I have a midsize livingroom and large furniture. To create the illusion of more space, I wanted a coffee table which was open at the bottom. I also wanted something that had a matching chairside table. This collection was perfect for my needswantslikes. The finish is beautiful. It came very well packaged. The assembly of the coffee table goes much smoothereasier if one disregards the initial instructions and waits to secure the legs until after they have placed the lower shelf. Once together, its a solid piece of furniture. Im very happy with my purchase

I saw the coffee table in a furniture store and it looked as I expected it would. It took some time to assemble and the instructions were not very detailed or clear that the shelf should be slid in after 3 legs on one side are attached and before the other 3 legs are attached. One person can assemble it, even if you aren't mechanically inclined.
