The table looks great, much better in reality, very heavy, thick, not flimsy at all. It is a bit pricey, but it is a great addition for one's house. It can be extended and can accommodate 8-10 people. If is not extended can be fit for 6-8 people. I kept mine on the initial size (not extended). However, the material is not a high quality wood. It seems to have just a coating or so and when cleaning it, there is need for precaution, not to scrub it hard.

This table is stunning!! I shopped for months for just the perfect table for our dining room and this was exactly it! The table is very well made, heavy, very stylish and just what we wanted!

The finish on the table started flaking off immediately. It doesn’t appear to be solid wood that can be sanded and refinished, so I’m worried I wasted my money. There’s no reason it should look this worn. We only use the table once a week at most. It’s also a little more ash in color than the pictures.
