Chair seats looked unfinished several scratches in wood to make the seats rustic up there looked like a big mistake in the finish

So disappointed! The pictures show white but these are gray and don’t match my kitchen. The seat is rough and has weird gray streaks like a paintbrush made a mistake. I’m looking for a way to return these

Great looking chair set. Easy assembly. Solid construction

The main reason for the low rating is the seat. There were scratches on the seat that I think are supposed to be a distressed look. However, they look more man-made than distressed. I did contact Wayfair and received 1 replacement seat. The second seat was acceptable. Unfortunately, the replacement seat was nearly as bad as the first. I decided to keep and bought seat cushions to cover-up the seat. Assembly was easy. I did not need any help.
