Overall, the shape of the stool is very nice, and am happy with the purchase. I took a star off because the wood could have been finished better and the variations of the wood should have been alternated better. I ended up spray painting the base to a metallic silver pink to soften the look to match my decor better. Still overall, it's a very nice looking stool
