These pockets came to me and needed to be broke down. So they could be soft enough to install. They need to be worked by hand to break down the varnish. That's on the outside of the pocket. They will definitely come around.

These are excellent quality and well worth the cost. I refinished my custom made table and these new pockets look perfect with the dark stain on the table.

These pockets look great and Welcome addition to my pool table.

The pockets were just what I hoped for my antique pool table and I was able to install them easily.
