Made cheap

The cabinet is made of pressed board, the doors were damaged when we received the item, we are trying to return it and all they are offering is sending out repair parts or a new unit. It’s not what a customer expected and should be able to return it to a local store. This is not the customer service satisfaction I expected from Wayfair.

Beautiful! Assembly went well with clear instructions included. The gap between the doors remains an issue,(as others have warned) hence deleting a star. Since the material is engineered wood, my husband has opted to remedy the gap by inserting a piece on the inside rather than messing with the integrity of the piece’s construction. While the color is not a true “walnut”, it is, however, true to the warmer tone of the photo - and a true match to my mid century floor, unifying the room. I’m using the cabinet as a base for a tv, and the storage space beneath is the solution I want for the accompanying clutter of electronics and dvds, adding serenity to the room. Delivery was almost instantaneous - arrived next day! This cabinet is “just what I need.”

I spent over four hours because there was significant issues with the manufacturing of this piece. Holes did not align or were non existent in a lot of places. I was really excited about this one especially reading all the reviews we have just asked for some partial parts to be sent to us to try to make the most of it but honestly I don’t know that it’s worth the hassle.
