There were 2 issues. First, the coffee table came with glue marks on the wood surface. Second, the lift top does not open evenly. One side is crooked. It also closes unevenly. I would not pay for this table again. Of course, WayFair will make you pay for packaging and shipping to return a damaged item. The delivery guys took the packaging with them, and I also can’t carry this heavy table by myself. So disappointed. I don’t recommend this table at all!

Beautiful table and love the smaller size in our apartment.

This coffee table is beautiful! Well constructed, solid wood and the great feature of lift top, as we often eat in the living room. Most other coffee tables like this that I considered did not have the extra shelf on the bottom, which is certainly a bonus for me.
