Meriwether Butterfly Leaf Extendable Mahogany Solid Wood Dining Table

As described love the texture. Delivery was prompt. Assembly was just the 4 legs. It is a heavy, study table.

TABLE IS THE RIGHT SIZE AND HAS THE BUTTERFLY LEAF THAT I WANTED. uNFORTUNATELY WHRN IT ARRIVED, IT HAD THE MOST AWFUL TAR-LIKE ODOR, WHICH TOOK ABOUT A MONTH TO DISSIPATE. THE COLOR IS NOTHING LIKE THE ONLINE PHOTO. IT IS ALMOST A MAT BLACK. i AGREED TO KEEP IT BECAUSE 1. IT WAS TOO HEAVY TO MOVE. 2. WAYFAIR GAVE ME A MUCH REDUCED PRICE FOR KEEPING IT.

Table is nice, but much narrower than I anticipated. The length is good and fits in the space I have with room to spare.

We love this table! Exactly what we needed for our space! The fold-away leaf is well-designed and works smoothly. Directions on the hinged side pieces of the leaf (which fold out to be the table "skirt") would have been helpful... at first it seemed like the table wouldn't fully close around the extension, but after looking under the table and some trial and error we figured it out.
