I read the other reviews and purchased it. Easy to put together and looks nice. Only drawback is that the mattress fits tight on it so there is no extra room to make it easier to put sheets on it. I use a 12-inch mattress and it looks great. Would look nice in a teen's room. I am using it in a Guest Room. Well worth the price

This bed is just beautiful. Solid and not too hard to assemble

This is a very pretty bed, easy to assemble in spite of spare directions, and seems sturdy. However, the description says it CAN be used without a box spring, while in reality it MUST be used without a box spring. Also, our mattress is pretty thick, so even without the box spring, I think it would be too small for us. It's a good height off the ground and everything, it's just that the head- and footboard are so short they look ridiculous with our thick mattress. Will have to return.
