Beautiful desk!!! A lot nicer in person indeed!! It’s not so much black but more of a brown with grayish hints. Matches our guest room perfect with the chair I also bought from Wayfair.

Perfect size and no delivery drama.

This desk is exactly what I needed. Placed in my gardening/growing room. The table top gives me plenty of room for books, laptop, and seed packages. The color is not a true black, but a very dark brown/almost black. Very sturdy.

This writing desk is absolutely stunning. So very beautiful! The pictures do not do it justice. It’s heavy and completely sturdy. I can’t say enough good things about it. Buy it, you won’t be disappointed. I’m not!
