The chair itself looks great - 5 stars. The wood arms/sides appear to be solid wood, no veneers. The color is great and the finish is good. The fabric on the cushions is not super high quality, but it's good. Everything arrived very fast and no damage to anything, so I was very pleased. It's interesting to note that the bottom chair cushion sits on a wood frame with what looks like lawn chair webbing strips running vertical and horizontal. At first glance I thought this would not provide any support and/or would soon become very saggy, but it appears to be holding up ok, at least for the first few days. So five stars for the chair but only 1 star for the assembly. First, there were no directions at all included in the packaging. Fortunately I found the instructions on the Wayfair web site so had to get out my laptop and print them off. The instructions were very minimal and probably assume you know something about putting furniture together. I don't, so it was slow going. After I installed some pieces and tightened the screws I found I had to untighten them in order to fit the chair back between the sides. So, no disasters but the instructions were not the best. Also, two of the pre-drilled holes were way too big for the size screws so they had nothing to attach to. I had to find my own wider screws to use, which did work out ok. If only there was some quality control this would have been a much better experience for me. You'll love the chair and hopefully will have better luck with assembly!
