The screws that are supposed to attach the base to headboard did not fit in the holes. Neither Mattress Firm nor my contractor/handyman (who can build a house from the ground up) could attach the headboard with the items that came and "normal" screws wouldn't fit either. the holes were too big. Had to rig it up and hope it stays.

The headboard itself is ok. However, I am facing the same issue as others. There are no inserts to thread the bolts through when connecting the frame to the headboard. And the screw holes on the board were too big for the provided screws. I contacted customer service, they sent new screws and still the same problem.

Very plush and made very well. Has heavy duty hardware and you can tell it is a quality product. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because there were no inserts to thread the bolts through when connecting the frame to the headboard. We are contacting customer service.
