We’ve had this platform bed (the black one) for four years now so I think it’s fair to evaluate it at this point. While it is beautiful, it is quite literally falling apart after basic everyday use (my wife and I weigh less than 300lbs combined so it SHOULD be able to maintain that level of basic stress). Simply put, the frame is poorly constructed with only the barest of reinforcements. As a result, many of the slats have started to sag, the drawers on the bottom (simply by having clothes in them) have pulled away from the frame, and the poles under the middle of the bed that should keep it from sagging are worthless and have fallen out. I have had to build wooden stands to reinforce the underside of the bed, screw in wood pieces to reinforce the sides/drawers, and use gorilla glue to put the bed back together. For the cost, I would have expected far better quality and endurance.
