Parfait

The bed is as described, solid wood and seems to be well made. My husband put it together by himself. We have a mattress on it and it is very low to the ground. It is fine for us, but may be too low if you typically use a boxspring.

Pros -The bed frame is of good quality looks nice. -The pieces came in undamaged. -The bed frame was easy to assemble. Cons - A regular twin sized mattress does not fit frame properly because it slides around. I purchased a box spring to see if this helped but there is still space around the edges of it at the headboard. (It might need to be listed as an extra large twin bed) -The two middle legs are a safety risk. My son has stubbed his toe on them so I’ve had to cushion them with childproof borders that don’t look very nice, but at least it makes them safe. Terrible design that unfortunately, we realized after my husband had assembled the bed. Overall, I would not buy this frame again.

Beautiful and very sturdy bed. The twin is ideal for a twin xl mattress vs a twin mattress. Some of the wholes were not flush but we made it work by improvising.
