It's a great shelf. We were looking for a corner shelf by our front window to hold some house plants. This covered everything. Wood shelves, metal frame, corner design. One side is a little bit longer to open up the design and to hold a few more plants. It does take a little extra time to assemble, but every hole was correctly pre drilled with great hardware to use. No wiggles, it will hold the weight. The wood shelves allowed us to even drill into for plant lights to be mounted. Metal frame worked great for running power cords to.

The bookshelf is very sturdy and because it's big we did use the pieces it came with to bolt it to the wall. It does take a while to put together (about 3.5 to 4 hours with two people) but it is not difficult. All the pieces were clearly labeled. There are just a lot of pieces. When it arrived we took many items out of the box first because the box is heavy and we didn't want to carry it upstairs. Then we separated the pieces by type. Organizing the pieces ahead of time made the whole thing go smoothly. It's best to put it together in the room you want it to go in because you won't want to carry the finished product upstairs for example. It would be too heavy and bulky. In our care we lined up many of the pieces outside of a smaller bedroom/office we wanted it to go in and brought the pieces in as we needed them because the room was not large enough to hold all of the pieces and also work on putting the bookshelf together. We are very pleased with the purchase. It is truly just what we wanted.
