The materials are fine, nothing special. The design is definitely unusual though. You can't tell as well in the pictures, but the sides of the desk are open - you can reach through the sides of the desk into the compartment underneath. The top of the desk also doesn't cover the entire width of the desk, there's a gap on the left side (this is at least visible in the pictures).

DO NOT PURCHASE. Absolute nightmare to put together, very cheap and comes out looking quite odd. Very much regret this order.
