In giving this guy a 4 outta 5 because it's a great price point especially when they run a sale on it. Here is why it was missing a few screws and there is a bit of a crack in the lower board that makes up the small lower shelf. Over all though the counter top portion is very sturdy and has a good heft to it. I personally wanted add a counter top which I could prepare foods and possibly bread in the future it's a decent size so great for an apartment. It store items nicely at the bottom just do not use it for heavy duty items the top portion can also store a few items via a could of hooks or sitting something light above like maybe a few mixing bowls (plastic). You can always be creative in replacing screws if you need and really if it's just a mild crack in the wood it's not really noticable. I really like it and it's helped me gain some kitchen counter space!
