Beautiful table. Arrived on time. It was extremely well packed. I was able to put it together in just a couple of minutes using the allen wrench provided and 6 screws. Thick wood top and solid metal base. It sits well on my hardwood floor, no rocking. Very pleased.

Broken when arrived as the screws will not catch on anything. Cheaply made not happy but can not send back

This is the review you need to read--- The table is 23 and 3/4" tall. It is not 26" as stated in the description. You might get it to 24" if you adjust the small rubber feet. The wood top is 5/8". Measuring both the wood top and the steel circle base, the top measures 1 and 3/8", giving it a substantive look. The top is real wood and has a smooth finish. Each piece of wood accepts the stain a little differently, giving each table a unique look. The color is a warmish brown -- just a touch or red to the color (as opposed to a grey brown or a black brown.) The base of the table has a smooth iron-look finish. However, paint is used to create a faux-finish that makes the base look lightly distressed . From a distance, this is really not noticeable and the base "reads" black. Both the table top and the base look fantastic and the overall quality of the table is excellent. The box says that the table is made in India (not China.) However, it looks like the company is actually based in the U.S.A. as the directions say "Carolina Forge." The box that the table comes in is extra-thick, which really protects the table. It is well-packaged and all the parts (including a hex key and accompanying directions) make for easy assembly. Start by making sure you have all the washers and screws (and hex key) and you're ready to go. Don't tighten down the screws until both screws (2 needed for each leg) are lightly threaded as you may need to slightly re-align the leg so that the screws are aligned over the holes. I was going to order just one table (to check out the quality before ordering a second one) but at this price, I went ahead and purchased two. I am so glad that I did. They are beautiful and a terrific value for the money. Buy with confidence!
