I ordered this to keep my lovely kitty off the kitchen counters without sacrificing style. I appreciate how the screen arrived already put together and was light to move up around as one person. The screen fabric isn’t particularly attractive up close and the wood is lightweight and scuffed in a few places. However, this looks good from afar and when I’m home it’s folded towards my TV and partially open so I can see in the kitchen - this is where I think it looks best. Overall, it’s decent for the price and will hold up with light use.

Nice screen made of real wood. The hinges allow it to fold in both directions but the window slats aren't double sided and the material for the 'shoji' effect is fabric which is a little loose. Taught, authentic, shoji paper would provide a better look overall. I don't think that replacing the fabric with paper would be a hard fix, I plan to give it a go.

I got this as a photo backdrop in my Japanese-themed photo studio. It is perfect for my needs. I like the two-way hinges. Makes relocating it easy. The solid bottom panel gives it the Japanese tea house feel.
