I am happy with this set, it looks nice and is functional. I do feel a bit misled about materials. The Desk Base says metal and to me that means the legs, but the legs are wood. The only metal on the desk is a long skinny piece in the middle I'm assuming provides support. There is some particle board in this set, which wasn't called out. I thought I was getting a solid wood desk and bookcase with metal frames but this set is primarily wood. That being said, I do like it and it meets my needs. I ordered two of these sets and one of the bookcases arrived with broken frames. I called Wayfair customer service and they took care of it for me without delay. Super impressed by the service and will definitely buy things from here in the future.
