Table basse Deveau

I received the item broken and wayfair did send out another. However Fedex never dropped it off and now I have an open case. So I actually don’t have a non-broken one currently. I reached out to Wayfair about the 2nd table (now missing in action) and they have not yet responded, maybe due to covid slowdowns. Anyways, I believe Wayfair is trying to do the right thing and they did send me a replacement but I have ring doorbell footage of my fedex person coming and not removing anything from the truck. So odd. I will update this review if anything changes on that front. UPDATE!!!! A man called who lives about 10 minutes away and we have semi-similar addresses. He had the replacement dropped at his house. Not Wayfair’s problem but actually FedEx. The table had been outside for a few weeks in the box. I opened it up and it’s perfect! So review of the broken table It is a very nice whitewashed too with metal legs. There are nice jute accents on the legs to give it a coastal vibe. The table is lightweight but gives you nice table space. It’s a little rough to the touch with sharp edges. I wish the edges were smoothed. I’m thinking I will bang my leg a bit, or a young child could have issues with the edges. I like the table and once we get the replacement, if we do, I believe I will be pleased with it. I am absolutely in love with this coffee table! It was over overnight delivery and it only took about 10 minutes to ensemble. The is wood gorgeous! This is definitely a statement piece and it goes perfectly with my boho style.

This isn’t a great piece. It would be okay for a rental or beach house, but not for everyday. The top was delivered cracked, but it could be easily fixed. The tabletop attaches to the pre-assembled base easily.

This table is great quality. I love the color, the durability, and the essence it brings to the room. We are temporarily using it as a tv stand, and it is so roomy, and fits everything with ease. I love this product.

This Safavieh table was delivered in the usual professional Wayfair manner! It was very quick and easy to assemble by hand with a screwdriver. The only issue was that the instructions state to line up the legs on top of the base, lining up the holes for proper placement, however, there were no pre drilled holes. After making sure it was even, I marked the holes with a marker and made the holes. The table was as described and very rustic with a modern flair. It has a distressed barn like wood table top. The metal baselegs are accented with rattan embellishments which add to the design and style. I do like the rustic look, but I dont feel the size is substantial enough for a large living room. I have large pieces and it just seems dwarfed. The table top is about a 12 thick. It looks a bit unimpressive in my living room. It would look lovely in a Florida Room or screened in porch with a planter or candles, but I have found it actually works great for a game table, which is what I will be using it for. This table, although sturdy and attractive with the distressed wood and quasi modern design, in my opinion, is quite overpriced. I dont believe the materials nor design warrant such a hefty price tag.
