38 inches wide (doesn’t say that is the description). I love it so much, it is solid and appears sturdy and well made. Very happy!

Lovely table. Very heavy. Butterfly extensions open easily and feel solid. It is darker than in appears in the photos. Four stars because the 24" chairs that are recommended feel too low so we've had to send back the ones we bought. Also because it has some small, repeated 'design' lines in random places on the table top and legs that don't add anything to the design. Thankfully there aren't many so they don't detract from the look too much.
