The table arrived in great condition about 9 months ago. I really liked the beautiful coloring and natural wood design. Because I liked it so much and wanted to protect it, I almost immediately covered it with a clear full size silicon table mat. This was a HUGE mistake because in just a few months the mat had ruined the previously beautiful finish of the table top. The finish became very uneven and even after I removed the mat it became very sticky. Even paper napkins would stick to the table and leave residue behind. I realize it was my fault for using the clear silicon table cover. As a result of my mistake the table will never be as nice as it was when it arrived new so I would be very cautious about putting protective mats on it as the mat somehow interacted with the finish and compromised the table top. It was a very pretty table.

This was the only dining table I considered for my house and I have zero regrets. I get so many compliments on this piece!

Very disappointed that one of the legs arrived rusty. Per Wayfair policy they could not expedite a replacement piece. This is counterintuitive - why would a company not want to quickly address defective productsThe suggestion for a speedy fix was to take the partial refund and buy a leg at a local store. At what store could I find the exact leg from a Wayfair table
