This chair is about 35” tall at best, not the height listed of 36”. There are drill holes in the base that are exposed even w the cushion on it. They show because the cushion affixes loosely by Velcro. According to other reviews and the instructions, the drill holes are for arms that did not come in the package. This is a very cheaply made chair, being passed off as an armless chair when it has holes showing where the arms are supposed to be screwed into!

Just got the one piece of what looks like a larger available sectional set. Material is soft and the cushions are Velcro detachable. There is a storage compartment underneath and comes with an extra bracket for expanding with additional pieces.

Added this apholstered side chair to the spare bedroom and totally completes the look. Chair is super soft and comfy and no arm rest. It can with attachments if desire to attach to another piece but only needed this piece as a sit down for guest room.

I do not like this chair, it feels and looks cheap. The back support is secured to the base at its middle but not at the bottom, it can flap against and away from the base. It’s attached by two dowel-like pegs that drop into holes on the base. The bottom and back cushions are held in place by Velcro. Appreciated that it came with an Allen wrench but it also came with an extra metal fitting that is for use if you are attaching an ottoman or a second seat (making a loveseat). Those are not options with this seat so the fitting is an extra piece that I am left to dispose. The instructions show that there are three different pieces that this company makes, and apparently they use some of the same parts, thus we received an unnecessary metal fitting that would only be needed if we purchased a second seat or an ottoman. The fabric is soft but overall, this is a huge disappointment. It will be okay in a bedroom where it will be more decorative and get very little use. Not recommending.
