Only three pieces to assemble to make a real wood solid bench. I love the contemporary sleek style. This works great at the end of the bed. Its a comfortable height to sit and put on shoes. Its narrow enough to not be invasive in the room, and well padded to not hurt when walked into in the middle of the night.
