Love the bench! The reason I’m giving it four stars is because of its original state prior to a repair. It came completely unstable…the middle support leg was way longer than the four corner legs which made it wobbly. I have no idea how it passed inspection with the manufacturer. Delivery guys said I’d have to take it up with wayfair and took the packaging since it was a white glove delivery. Contacted wayfair and they said they’d require the original packaging for a return. However, they coordinated a repair with a local repair business, and it was like new after that.

Aesthetically, the bench is beautiful and just as pictured. It arrived completely put together in a very large box. However,  when I took it out of the box I discovered that the wooden frame was very wobbly. The middle leg was longer than the outer legs, which made the bench rock back-and-forth, depending on what part of it you were sitting on. It was disheartening, knowing that I had to either return the whole thing -and it is quite large- or try and fix it myself. I ended up shaving down the middle leg with a planer which was a task. Another disappointment is that the cushion is quite hard to sit on and I discovered that there is a wooden panel on the bottom of the cushion. It’s like a boxspring mattress and the cover is not removable and not reversible so you can’t turn it over. That’s why I give it 3 stars and overall think it’s overpriced.

They did a great job unloading the bench and carefully bringing it up the stairs to the guest bedroom. Both guys were extremely polite and even removed their shoes without me asking them to. They were just awesome!
