Although this bookcase is sturdy, I got 2 different colored shelves and wrong pieces sent - 3 short shelf units instead of 2 short and 2 wider units, which changes the overall width and we had ordered it to precisely fit a certain wall and with the mistake was now 13 inches narrower. Despite disappointment, Wayfair was great about refunding purchase because of double mistake.

Easy to assemble. Perfect kids’ bookshelf. Appreciate the easy to install anti-tip hardware.

I’m so happy with how this turned out! This was a very expensive purchase but knowing this would be the centerpiece of my room, I wanted it to be good quality. The dimensions of this large shelf were perfect for this nook. I was a little nervous because I didn’t see any photo reviews of the large shelf but I decided to go for it. Since I just moved and was having some work done at the new house, I paid a contractor’s team to assemble it. It took 3 pros 2-3 hours. I do think the price is too high, but I’m so happy with how it looks in my room that I can’t complain. FYI, it was shipped in two separate shipments that arrived on different days.

Like others have said, it really shouldn't cost as much as it does (including on sale), but it works. The white is a bit brighter white than I'd have preferred and doesn't quite match my white cabinets, but overall it's a quality piece of furniture and not too hard to put together. We added another extender, which you can do pretty much indefinitely if you've got a longer space to fill.
