This thing is heavy. You probably, definitely need two people to put this thing together. It's pretty sturdy but top heavy. You'll definitely want to use the wall mount. The "glass" on the door is plastic. I'm a 35 year old, disabled woman, and my parents are in their 50's. The three of us put this together in about an hour or so. The only issues we had were that the screw starts for the door were very off. We had to measure the hinges and make new holes with a small drill to get it on. Otherwise, it's very sturdy and looks nice!
