Console Ashtun

I am in love with this console table! It fits perfectly in my room. It is great quality. It comes assembled, the only thing you need is to screw in the feet. It is very heavy. I do recommend either being prepared to carry it yourself or have the delivery set it up for you. The drawers operate smoothly. I am use to slow closing drawers in my kitchen, so it took a little time to get use to closing the drawer completely. I absolutely have no complaints. I have had it for a little over a month.

First one arrived with a broken drawer but Wayfair was excellent and made it right. Bought it to be a sofa table. Very happy with the quality as it is solid. It is also incredibly heavy… very heavy.

The guides on two drawers broke after a year. Should not happen after investing so much money.

I'm very disappointed in both this console table and the service provided by Wayfair in response to said issues. The console table arrived damaged with one of the drawers not closing correctly. You have to push really hard to close the door into position, and then the left side of the drawer would slowly "pop out" within seconds of being closed. The drawers in general are not easy to open or close, which is very annoying for an item that you'd most likely get into on a frequent basis. After reading of very similar issues from other reviews (even some of the higher rated ones), we opted to return it altogether since spending over $2000 for a defective product from day one does not make any sense to me. When I called customer service, we were only given the option to have someone come out and "repair" the drawer...a scenario we weren't willing to risk since other reviews stated that the issue remained even after repair. We were then told that WE would be charged $140 for pickup if we wanted to return it. While I understand incurring shipping fees for something you don't like or simply change your mind about - it's unbelievable to me that we'd be charged shipping for the return of a damaged item (especially given that it would probably cost them a similar fee to send out a repair man). In my opinion, there was no logic, rationale, or empathy shown in the way they handled the situation. This was a perfect opportunity for Wayfair to HEAR their customer, exceed expectations, and increase client loyalty to the Wayfair brand; instead, they went off rote policy, glossed over reasonable concerns, and ended up losing a once "raving" fan for what had previously been excellent products and service for a great price. I will think twice before ever purchasing a higher-priced piece of furniture from here knowing that my return options will be severely limited (even with DAMAGED products)...and will save the higher end pieces for local stores that understand the value of our investment.

This console is very beautiful and very well made. The only complaint I have is that it came packaged with a bunch of styrofoam, which is not biodegradable and is very messy. I wish Wayfair would use honeycomb corrugated cartons to package their items. House is still being remodeled so pardon the mess

This a very beautiful piece and great quality. It is solid wood and very heavy. Definitely would recommend.

Just arrived yesterday and it is awesome. I was worried that the "SOLID wood" claim was bogus but it is not. Love it.
