I really like the desk part of this set but the book shelf is flimsy and really not useful for storing anything of any weight. The book shelf needs to be secured to a wall in order to hold anything and even with this, I would not store anything of more than 10 lb on the shelves. Be aware that the desk is a STANDING desk. I didn't realize this but like it.
