In less than 2 months a Chair breaks at the joint of the back to the seat. Minimal use. Cheap

The sunburst veneer top is beautiful but the top is thin as compared to the legs. Since I do DYI carpentry, I got an extra top, routed it out to a ring, enough to clear the hardware to attach the legs, screwed it to the underside of the existing top, and then attached the legs. Vendor should consider this instead of a Wayfair hack! See my photo! After months of usage, I discovered the top is abnormally vulnerable to scratches. Moreover, once scratched, the white "scars" eliminate the design and even DIY efforts do not allow coverage with normal stains. What is needed is to cover the whole surface with a dull polyethylene finish to protect the design with normal use. I cannot edit my five stars but would if I could: * * *

The table is very nice, and I really like the mid-century modern look. It looks great once assembled, but putting it together was a bit more complicated than I expected.
