I purchased this set because I thought it was SOLID wood… with at worst a veneer top… It is NOT, it is contact paper that peels off easily… Right out of the box the corner peeled.This is not what I thought it was, the frame is compressed wood it is not solid wood either.. at 6 months old it was trash.. peeling, wobbly, trash! Edit absolute TRASH! Don’t even waste your money or energy. By the time we had them six months, the coffee table was loose, shaky, peeling, and falling apart. We are very careful with it only use coasters, etc.… But it’s absolute garbage and will be getting thrown out next week.
