Absolutely love this bookcase! I was hesitant at first due to there only being 1 review and it was 1 star, but this bookshelf is stunning. It has a restoration hardwarewabi sabi vibe. It’s simple, classy, and extremely easy to put together. Attached to the wood is a noted saying “hand crafted in India.” I love that it’s handcrafted, because it doesn’t look or feel generic at all. 10 out of 10 would buy again if I had more space. It’s a super heavy bookshelf made with real wood. Coming out of the box the wood felt like it had a little powder on it, so just wipe it clean before using. Also on the bottom legs there is screw feet that make each corner slightly adjustable, which if helpful to level the bookcase depending on if you floor is level or not.

It is technically pretty if you squint. But this was such a nightmare to put together - none of the pre drilled holes lined up, the shelves are not straight, some of the bolts were damaged and couldn’t be used and the parts labels removed the finish from the wood. Once I got it all together, it wobbles violently - I will need to do something to shore it up in order to use it. This is a $70 bookcase, not $700.
