We decided to return this recliner set. It looked great — the color, the design, the glide and swivel — all wonderful. But the comfort just wasn’t right for us. The size fit me, but not my husband, and we really missed having padded armrests. The controls were frustrating because you can’t lift just the footrest without the back moving, so we couldn’t get the positions we wanted. I also needed a USB‑C port, and the chair only had a regular USB.
The return process was mostly smooth, though getting the chairs back into the original boxes was a challenge since the boxes were already damaged. We taped them up as best we could. Wayfair sent return labels and arranged pickup, but the time didn’t work for us, so we had to reschedule with FedEx. That created some confusion with the labels, and I had to follow up several times. After a month, the refund finally came through, minus the $100 return shipping. At one point they mistakenly tried to charge $545, but they corrected it when I called.
Next time, I’ll definitely test‑sit any recliner before buying. Even so, I still love Wayfair.
