Lit escamotable Tapaktuan avec armoires de rangement latérales

We purchased this murphy bed for my college-aged son's studio apartment. It comes in several HEAVY, very large boxes, but the pieces were packaged well and every part we needed was included in the boxes. The instructions were surprisingly easy to follow, with written instructions, illustrations, and notes and tips that made each step very straightforward. There are a couple places where it's frustrating because you have to REMOVE parts you have already installed in order to complete the next step, then reinstall the pieces again which don't fit very well once they have to be replaced over the top of the parts you installed in the interim. It seems like a little modification in the instructions here and there would be useful. But overall, assembly was pretty easy, as far as building large pieces of furniture goes. My son and I built this bed and one cabinets in about 4 hours, including installing into studs on the wall and making a trip to the hardware store for a taller ladder. We didn't actually install the cabinet right next to the bed due to the layout and spacing of the apartment, so you see the cabinet separate in the photos. There are two cabinets meant to go on either side of the bed, but they don't have to be installed right next to the bed, and we installed only one in his apartment and the other one in my home. The bed operates very smoothly, and the facade is beautiful. It was an expensive investment, but we are pleased with shipping, assembly, and final product.

Looks nice. Wish the backing didn’t have holes that are visible from the open shelves. I did look and make sure I didn’t install it upside down and I hadn’t.

Some pieces arrived damaged. Other than that, it was OK to build, though we spent all day. Looks great in our guest room.

Assembly wasn’t fun but directions were clear. Perfect for my space.

We are in the midst of assembly. If you take your time and really look at the visuals, it is very easy to put together. Just like the other reviews, it will take time. All the materials are good quality and packaged well.
