I wish I could give this item zero stars. The leg had several large splinters on it that I could not see upon opening but revealed themselves with using the table and flexing the legs. I had assessed the product before using it for safety purposes as I purchased it for my mother since she is an elderly woman. However with use for just the first full day, somehow she managed to have two large splinters end up in her leg and two in her fingers which was all incredibly painful to remove with tweezers. She is still complaining non-stop from the pain from the splinters and this has created extreme distress in the household. This is incredibly upsetting as this tray has the highest reviews on the website. The pictures that I have attached to this complaint are the visible missing chunks where the splinters fell off from the leg as well as splintering from the underside of the tray where she attempted to adjust the table and got two splinters in her fingertips. I would like a full refund for the damage and distress that has been caused to my mother, or, a reimbursed full shipping fee for a return to be covered by Wayfair for me to return this to you please. I do not want to pay to return this with all of the headache and physical pain and damage that this product has brought us. I really wanted this item to work for my mother as she is frail and needs this tray for accessibility, but instead this caused her a lot of distress, physical pain, and upset today. I was not expecting this. Wayfair, please do better in conducting quality control checks and safety check for all of your products.
