I like the book shelf … seems to be good and sturdy!

Sturdy and I like the look. Was harder to put together than expected because of the number of screws that had to be tightened by hand. My hand hurt for a couple of days afterword.

The shelving unit was easy to assemble and looks okay. It’s very light weight and I think it looks cheap but needed something small for my granddaughter’s bedroom and it works well bought this shelving unit for my granddaughter.

The dowels are far too small for drilled holes they’re designed for. This is why an assembly that should be straight forward and simple seems difficult. The screws are also unnecessarily long. It’s just poor engineering all around. Seriously, you could throw the dowels away and have the exact same stability you would relying solely on the weirdly long connection screws. The shelves themselves look good from the front, but the visible shiny screw heads on the side make them look cheap. But, if you’re like me, you found this because you were looking for a cheaper alternative to the W.E. shelves that this unit copied the design of. Just know they are a cheap knock-off, but they do get the job done.
