Table basse Chelse

A sculptural table that is distinctive in its design with its wonderfully angled legs, all made of solid wood. However, at $500+, this table should come with a warning, telling the purchaser it’s not at all stable due to basic physics. NOTHING can be placed on the part of the table extending away from the center of its legs, or the table will tilt & fall over, completely dumping all the table’s contents off to the floor.

This coffee table is very cool looking with the legs. It’s also very sturdy. Very happy with it

Looks just as I had hoped. Be careful to get the legs in the right order -- there is only one right order. Otherwise, assembly is a snap.

The wood pieces themselves feel solidly built and well finished. The hardware and screw inserts seem to be on the cheaper side, but that's not the end of the world. Strangely, the furniture sliders they put on the bottoms of the feet are all wildly offset from center, which looks pretty bad if you're setting this table on a hardwood floor where the feet aren't obscured by carpet tuft.

This table looks so good in our living room. The asymmetrical design works so well with the rug (also from Wayfair).
