This table is beautiful out of the box and looks exactly as pictured, but it is not constructed to withstand real-world dining use. The tabletop is a very thin wood veneer with a whitewash finish protected by what appears to be a minimal, unevenly applied sealant. Within a few months of normal use, we noticed the finish deteriorating in multiple areas — patches where the whitewash had worn through to the underlying wood, and areas where brief contact with everyday items left permanent marks. What is marketed and sold as a dining table requires a level of care more appropriate to a piece of antique furniture or a museum object. Notably, we only sat down to eat at the table on a handful of occasions. Unfortunately, when we contacted customer service we were only offered a 10% discount on a replacement table, which does little to offset the $500 we wasted.

Love this table! It’s substantial and sturdy but easy to assemble. Looks perfect in our NYC apartment.

I bought this to use as a desk. I love it. The oval table top and arched legs give it an interesting and somewhat sophisticated look. Although it’s not real wood, it’s very heavy and sturdy. It was easy to assemble. I assembled it by myself, but it is heavy so I recommend having someone help you. My one critique is that I wish they delivered it to my door or had white glove delivery because they left it in my apartment’s package room, and I had to take it out of the box and carry it piece by piece up the stairs to my 3rd floor apartment.

This is a beautiful table. It's well-made and appears to be solid wood. It was also easy to assemble. One drawback is the ugly stickers that are provided to hide the holes under the table. You can't really see the stickers/holes unless you're under the table and really searching, though. It is on the smaller side, but I'm happy with the purchase and can't wait to see how my dining room comes together.
