There were screw holes drilled in the underside of the seat. These were misleading; because when we screwed the enclosed hardware; it punctured holes into the seat surface. These enclosed instructions did not address this appropriately. We had to patch up our new seat with wood filler. Such an avoidable mistake. The materials were also dusty when we removed them from the package. The chair otherwise looks OK.

Ehhh, they’re just OK. The screws from beneath the seat don’t screw all the way in to the seat base so we ended up having to buy longer screws. They’re kind of bulky and the headrest just barely doesn’t slide to be level with my counter which is just my own preference! But they’re easy to wipe off and keep clean, and sturdy enough to withstand my children climbing up onto them.

These are nice stools and just the right height for our counter. THey went together easily (about 20 minutes per stool, taking my time to do it right) and everything fit together nicely. They seem like they will last a long time. They have a wide seat and are comfortable for sitting for longer periods of time. I would recommend them to anyone who doesn't mind a little hands on assembly.

The perfect counter stool- very sturdy with few breakable or fragile parts. I also appreciate the weight of these since you have to slide them to use them. They’re sturdy but not clunky and overly Heavy.

These counter stools are very nice… quite sturdy and easy to assemble! The only reason I’m rating them 4 stars is because the predrilled holes to put the seat on to the frame did NOT line up, not even close! I had to be very careful to screw the seat on without stripping out. I’m just glad I was able to get it so I didn’t have to return it! But overall very excited about the new chairs and I anticipate them holding up well with young children.
