Disappointed and frustrated. So sad to give this a low rating. I LOVE the style of this bed. Classic, elegant, mostly real wood. A timeless piece to include in my home and it looks beautiful in my room like I knew it would. It was an expensive piece to buy so I patiently waited for it to go on sale. I've only had this since May, so almost 3 full months of use. And it apparently is unable to handle the daily use of the two adults who sleep in it and the two small children (ages 2 and 5) who mess around on it while I'm doing things in my room. There are two decorative spindles that you screw onto the footboard when you put the bed together. My 2 year old immediately wiggled one off and now the wood is stripped, therefore requiring super glue to keep the spindle on so it doesn't fall off when you walk by it and accidentally bump into it. The other major problem we are having is the middle supports underneath the bed bend while we are sleeping and our mattress sags. Just from tossing and turning, no other rigorous activity required. We are average sized people. Male 5'9" 195 lbs and Female 5'7" 185 lbs pregnant. My husband has gone underneath multiple times to re-straighten the supports the best he can, but now the next move is to take the whole bed apart and him build his own reinforcements for the bed since the ones it came with are chimsy and designed poorly. The supports have also scratched my new wood floor. I'll just go back to sleeping with the mattress on the box springs on the floor. I'm pretty frustrated with the quality of this, I've never had a bed frame cause us such problems. Just this morning the wood underneath was crackling underneath us (again) from the bent supports from last night and that is why I am leaving this review.

Beautiful bed frame and lovely color too. Easy to assemble, but it is heavy so be aware when doing delivery and assembly! Lifts bed high off the ground which I wanted!
