I was looking to update dated and boring grey fabric chairs with something easier to clean and more vibrant. These chairs seemed perfect for each end of our table! These are lovely and a vibrant orange, without being a safety orange. It's true black and gold/brass also (not brushed or light gold. They're comfortable and firm, and sturdy. Assembly was easy enough, but the legs are directional, with about 1/4 inch difference between front and back. The instructions were not super clear on orientation- unlike any other furniture, you actually need to orient with where the stickers (B and C) are located to orient correctly. This wasn't clear and I had to redo one chair, which wasn't difficult but was annoying (these were the last two of eight new chairs I assembled today). As always, I strongly suggest a ratcheting screwdriver to make your life easier! Tldr: they're lovely chairs with true colors, and be detail oriented when assembling.

I really do like the look of these chairs, but the build quality is unimpressive. All four chairs I purchased wobble significantly simply because of the leg design. The legs diagonal to one another are connected by a stretcher (making one unit), and this is connected to the opposing leg/stretcher combo in the shape of an X. Because one stretcher sits on top of the other (and they’re screwed together), one of the leg combos was consistently higher than the other. The led to the same diagonal wobble on all chairs. No problem, I’ll attach some furniture pads and be done with it. More importantly, one of the legs came with a broken weld. Despite this, I couldn’t simply get that component replaced. I’d rather have that option over the “keep your busted chair and get a 30% refund” presented to me.
