Table basse à roulettes

It looks nice and feels natural. However, it is NOT made out of marble. It is made from UV marble sheets glued to a base. Wayfair website says it's made out of marble, which is false. The base is probably concrete and they glued on a layer of UV marble sheet on the surface. The vein pattern on the sheets repeats and it is high gloss. The vein pattern also continues to the sides, since marble sheets can bend and are easy to install. UV marble sheets have some advantages over natural marble as it is more resistant to staining and is easier to maintain, however this product is way too expensive for what you are getting. It also weighs about 400 lbs, so once you put it somewhere, it's there for good. No white glove service available, so you have to remove it from a big wood crate and move the 400 lb table to your living room.
