While the quality isnt the best, I think the other two reviews are way too harsh. The drawers are definitely not the best but they do open and close. One review says they dont open and close. Im guessing they installed the drawers wrong. The other review says one of the drawers was upside down. The sides most likely just needed to be switched.

The chest drawer is not very good. The drawer locking mechanism doesn’t allow for the drawers to open or close them. Also, the entire thing moves even after having someone follow every step of the instructions. Overall I found that it is not well made. You can see the drawers wood not looking even or perfectly cut. I was so upset to have bought this for my daughter.

It came with several sides that were facing the wrong direction. One drawer was upside down. My husband had to redrill and refit a bunch of things because we didn’t have time to return and get a new one. Quality is ok once it is put together
