If you don't mind spending over $200 for junk, then this is for you! My husband finished our basement himself and was defeated by putting this together. None of the metal pieces align correctly, the backing is reinforced cardboard, and its poorly spray painted white (all photos attached). I guess if you stand 20 feet away and squint at the bookcase maybe it's cute. I've tried reaching out to Wayfair to return this item via there "chat" service and was met with 6-10 minutes of silence before any one responds and when I don't respond within 30 seconds its "are you still with me?" and a sign off. Save yourself the trouble and skip this!

Beautiful shelf to add to my den. Easy to follow instructions, came with all parts, nothing was damaged. I put together on my own. If one screw seems to be stripped try another screw. This shelf is a bit dark gray and the X’s are what’s black. Very sturdy once all together.

Products need to be better quality. Holes don’t line up to insert hardware & we were missing some of the parts! Will never order any products from Wayfair again.
