The hinge on the lid was broken when the piece arrived. My son “ fixed” it . Meaning the lid is on but will come unhinged again if I lift the lid , the screws and the material they are to screw into are not compatible. Screws are too short and bench wood too flimsy. Cosmetically it is a beautiful piece. Just wish I could use the space inside.
