Looks lovely and delivery was super easy

Took a chance buying this dresser with only two previous reviews, and I’m satisfied with it. It’s very nice quality and really lovely in person, but I think it’s overpriced. The drawers are pretty sturdy, but the back is a fairly thin board (a step up from the cheapest particle board but not actual solid wood). Mine did arrive damaged (even the shipping box was damaged, so clearly not a manufacturer issue) but Wayfair customer service resolved the issue quickly. The drawers are also a little smaller than I’d imagined despite having read the measurements, but that’s probably on me for not pulling out the tape measure. The marble-look top is really nice looking, although the the marbled pattern is sort of a rose gold color with a sheen to it that I had not noticed in the photos. I happen to like it a lot, but would have been disappointed if I was not a rose gold fan! Overall, I love the dresser but feel like it should be priced closer to $1000-$1200 for the quality. At the $1730 price I paid, it only gets 4 stars.
