Overall, I'm disappointed with this purchase. Assembly was much more difficult and cumbersome than I expected. While I eventually got it put together, it definitely wasn't an easy process. My biggest concern, though, is the smell. The bed has been assembled for over three weeks, and it still has a very strong chemical, musty odor. I've obviously have been airing out the room, but the smell hasn't gone away. My daughter actually doesn't want to spend time in her room because it's so unpleasant. I understand that some new furniture can have a slight "new" smell at first, but I did not expect it to linger this long or be this overpowering. I was really excited about this purchase, but the persistent odor has been a huge disappointment.
