Table basse Elica

This table would look terrific however, it is made out of what appears to be mdf coated with an enamel looking surface (it is not enamel), and held together by thin nails. We saw this because one of the drawers came broken and the flimsy construction could clearly be seen. Also, the gold on the legs of the table is rosy and brash looking, not a soft gold, and has a mottled appearance in some areas. If the drawers were more solidly built it could be a good piece. It is solid; does not wobble, and it is easy to put together.

This is a really beautiful piece that crafted well and looks more expensive than it costs.

The table is very beautiful and very easy to assemble. The only issue I have is that the manufacturer put three big stickers on the back side of the table, which of course everyone can see because it’s in the center of my living room. These stickers are really difficult to get off. I had to spray Goo Gone, scrape, Goo Gone, scrape over and over again. I don’t understand why those stickers were not placed on the bottom of the table.

Love this table! It was very easy to assemble by myself and I completed in 30 minutes. I love the extra storage with the drawers too.

Love this coffee table. I purchased a matching end table as well.
