Good looking and sturdy. I am satisfied with the bookshelf. I just cannot give 5 stars because wood for the shelves is not quite as good as expected for the price.

The overall size of this bookcase and color of wood shelves is what drew me this bookcase. The faux finish af metal and hollow shelves were disappointing however. Not really all that sturdy either. Would not recommend to somebody with small children.

Great piece, great storage space, but a little rough on the shelves edges.

I like the look of this, but when I ordered it, one of the shelves had a layer of wood peeling off, and I wasn't able to attach the fourth screw on another shelf. I got two replacement shelves, and one was fine, but the second didn't have the screw holes in the right place, so it's going in the trash. I would recommend you continue shopping and get a shelving unit with solid wood shelves.
